Top Emerging Entrepreneurs of the Northern Cape
09 June 2008
Winners of the Tourism Enterprise of the year award, affably known as the ETEYA award, represent the cream of the crop where it concerns small tourism enterprises owned by historically disadvantaged people. |
They undergo a strenuous development programme under the auspices of the Department of Tourism, Environment and Conservation. This programme aims to improve their product quality, management capacity and access to markets in order to better match these business to client needs, as well as to make them more competitive in the mainstream provincial tourism industry.
The Department of Tourism, Environment and Conservation invites all businesses and leisure travellers, tour operatorsand travel agents to include these top emerging tourism enterprises in their next itinerary to Kimberley and the Northern Cape. And when you stayed over, please tell the department about your experience and where we still need to improve!
