02 November 2007 Northern Cape Tourism wins Gold at Cape Outdoor Adventure and Travel Experience.

The Northern Cape Province is riding a wave of success where it concerns tourism branding and marketing. At the recent Cape Outdoor Adventure and Travel Experience tourism show held at Bien Donne, Franschhoek in Cape Town, the Northern Cape Tourism Authority received a gold award for the best exhibition stand and all round performance on the stand. Last year they won the Premier Award for the best exhibition. In addition to just having a functional stand, Northern Cape Tourism was one of the most visit provinces at the show. The Cape Outdoor Adventure and Travel Experience provides a marketing platform to profile Northern Cape Tourism. It is an excellent platform for targeted brand exposure, face to face marketing and enhancing the product experience of the Northern Cape. The attendance of visitors to the show was an incredible 20 000 people. This is a strong indication that marketing the province as a preferred adventure destination is finally showing that Northern Cape Tourism is impacting positively in our domestic source markets.
