A small town 60 kilometers northwest of Kimberley situated between the Harts and Vaal rivers at the foot of the Ghaap Plato. The town is dominated by aluvial diamond diggings.

The historical settlements of Sydney-on-Vaal and Longlands.

Vaalbos National Park - Please note that this national park is in the process of moving. The new park will be just off the Kimberley to Cape Town road (N8).
